These decorative stones are less durable than standard sauna heater stones and may be subject to cracking or discoloration after prolonged use. Always follow your sauna heater manual and manufacturer installation requirements.
Sauna Stone Fit & Use
The Harvia AC5000 stones should be used as a decorative top layer only. For best performance, they must be stacked loosely so air can circulate properly through the heater. On electric heaters, decorative stones should not touch the heating elements.
Because natural sauna stones vary in shape and size, fit and appearance may vary from box to box. Harvia recommends using a maximum of one box per heater for decorative surface-layer placement.
